BRIAN R. HECHT, ATTORNEY AT LAW

Brian Hecht graduated from The John Marshall Law School in 2001 and is licensed to practice before the Illinois State Bar and the United States District Court of the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.

Brian has spent his legal career in civil litigation, primarily focusing on the rights of those injured. He has also worked with the City of Chicago, Corporation Counsel’s Office where he prosecuted individuals and businesses licensed by the City of Chicago.

Brian focuses on the aggressive representation of each of his clients. He represents victims and families of victims injured or who have died as a result of automobile crashes, defective products, defective premises, or as a result of medical malpractice. He has fought the insurance industry’s lawyers and recovered sizable settlements and verdicts at trial on behalf of his clients. In 2012, 2013, 2014 and again in 2015 Brian was selected as a “Rising Star” by the Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine and Chicago Magazine, a recognition earned by no more than 2.5% of lawyers in Illinois. In 2016 Brian was selected as an Emerging Lawyer by the peer reviewed Leading Lawyers publication.

Prior to Law School, Brian graduated from Eastern Illinois University where he was a member of the EIU Men’s Soccer Team and an Assistant Coach for the EIU Women’s Soccer Team. Brian lives in the suburbs with his wife and three boys and enjoys coaching his boys baseball, basketball and soccer teams.  He also enjoys musicals, concerts and plays the guitar.
